A Little About the Maker…
Joe is the owner of the company Eiconig (Welsh for Iconic). He started turning his Welsh designs into wearable art in Cardiff in the summer of 2023. He was raised in a 50/50 household (an English mother, and a Welsh Father) but it wasn’t until he enrolled in A Level Welsh when he realised the depth of culture and community that can be unlocked through not only having pride in your heritage, but in speaking it’s language.
